Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Buildwick mobile application and related services ("Buildwick," "the app," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Buildwick, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Buildwick. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The service

Buildwick is a tool for tradespeople and contractors to track jobs, projects, material and labor costs, expenses, and related records. The app is provided to help you organize and estimate costs. It does not provide professional financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and you are responsible for verifying any figures before relying on them.

3. Your account

You may use Buildwick in guest mode or by creating an account with your email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring the information in your account is accurate

Notify us at support@buildwick.app if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Free Access

Buildwick is currently free to download and use. All features available in the app can be accessed at no cost.

We may introduce optional paid features or subscription plans in the future. If we do, all pricing, billing terms, and subscription details will be clearly presented within the app before any purchase is made.

Any future purchases will be optional and will be processed through the applicable app store in accordance with its payment terms and policies.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the data and content you create in Buildwick ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the app to you. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content and for keeping your own backups where important.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Attempt to access, disrupt, or interfere with the app's systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where permitted by law
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app without our permission
  • Upload malicious code or use the app to infringe others' rights

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

Buildwick, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Nyle Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Third-party services

Buildwick relies on third-party services, including Supabase (database and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), and the Apple App Store and Google Play (distribution and payments). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Disclaimers

Buildwick is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or cost calculations will be accurate or suitable for your needs. You use the app at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nyle Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nyle Studio from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using Buildwick and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how to delete your account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, the licenses granted to you end, though sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date, and where appropriate we will notify you in the app. Your continued use of Buildwick after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.

15. Apple App Store terms

The following additional terms apply if you download Buildwick from the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and Nyle Studio only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the app.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims.
  • Apple is not responsible for any third-party intellectual property claims relating to the app.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
